Excellent all round hotel. Rooms on the small side but recently refurbished, including bathroom with bath and overhead shower, all kept very clean. Food was good, catering more for the English taste ie roast beef, steak and kidney pie, selection of salads, soups, fresh fish, potatoes including chips. Breakfast included cereals, bacon, sausage, eggs and baked beans plus continental breafast. Snacks were served inbetween meals in the restaurant only (you can't eat round the pool/bar) they included burgers, hot dogs, ice cream etc.
Entertainment team is brilliant, Alan, Lisa and the gang with activities for both kids and adults for a couple of hours in the morning and then again at 3 pm. The evenings start off with kids disco followed by the usual bingo, handing out of certificates and then either an external show or the team put on Mr & Mrs etc. No waiting at the bar at any time, ample staff, drinks of a good standard for all inclusive and not watered down. You pay extra for branded alchohol, crisps, branded icecreams/lollies and the decent coffee.
No need to put your towels down early, (although a few people still felt the need!) plenty of free loungers all day and lovely gardens to place them in if you don't need to be round the pool.
Take the bus into Ciutadella, bus number 64, stops right by the hotel, pay the driver 1.55 euro per person (one way) then you need to purchase your return ticket from the wooden hut at the bus station. Lovely old town, nice harbour, worth a visit.
Nice small beach 3-5 min walk away.
Free WiFi in lobby, bar and pool area, just ask reception for the code.
Overall very clean, small well run hotel catering mainly for families or older couples with an excellent entertainment team and good food. Would recommend.
