“Little gem”

Excellent all round hotel. Rooms on the small side but recently refurbished, including bathroom with bath and overhead shower, all kept very clean. Food was good, catering more for the English taste ie roast beef, steak and kidney pie, selection of salads, soups, fresh fish, potatoes including chips. Breakfast included cereals, bacon, sausage, eggs and baked beans plus continental breafast. Snacks were served inbetween meals in the restaurant only (you can't eat round the pool/bar) they included burgers, hot dogs, ice cream etc.
Entertainment team is brilliant, Alan, Lisa and the gang with activities for both kids and adults for a couple of hours in the morning and then again at 3 pm. The evenings start off with kids disco followed by the usual bingo, handing out of certificates and then either an external show or the team put on Mr & Mrs etc. No waiting at the bar at any time, ample staff, drinks of a good standard for all inclusive and not watered down. You pay extra for branded alchohol, crisps, branded icecreams/lollies and the decent coffee.
No need to put your towels down early, (although a few people still felt the need!) plenty of free loungers all day and lovely gardens to place them in if you don't need to be round the pool.
Take the bus into Ciutadella, bus number 64, stops right by the hotel, pay the driver 1.55 euro per person (one way) then you need to purchase your return ticket from the wooden hut at the bus station. Lovely old town, nice harbour, worth a visit.
Nice small beach 3-5 min walk away.
Free WiFi in lobby, bar and pool area, just ask reception for the code.
Overall very clean, small well run hotel catering mainly for families or older couples with an excellent entertainment team and good food. Would recommend.

“would go back tomorrow!”

having booked this holiday very late "a week before no less" i would say we came up trumps. OK its not the 5 star royal wings we stayed at the previous 2 years. we didn't go there and expect that. However this hotel is excellent value at 3 stars. always plenty of sunbeds even though we stayed there at peek season.
the food was always good well cooked something for everyone and very tasty albeit a rather limited selection....however i would take that any day over a large selection of blandness!
the hotel itself is very clean rooms where maid up every day also fresh towels provided.
the pool area might benifit from a bit of a spruce up but picking any faults for the sake of it would be harsh.
We would certainly go back next year and will consider it.

“We loved it!”

We stayed at this hotel in August for a week and would highly recommend it. The staff were friendly and we could not fault the food. The pool area was nice and clean and the gardens were lovely. The town of Ciudadella was only a bus ride away and worth a visit daytime and nightime. The small clean beach and clear blue sea is a short walk at the bottom of the road. We are a couple in our 50's and would be returning to the island of Menorca again. :)

“Absolutely awesome and excellent value for money!!!!”

We spent a week on a family holiday at this superb hotel on an "All Inclusive" basis. The staff were helpful, friendly and curteous. The rooms were well maintained every day, and were clean and well presented when we arrived, with comfortable beds providing a well earned nights sleep!! We found the variety and quality of the food to be of a very high standard, and there were always plenty of activities throughout the day catering for adults and children alike. When the daytime activities were over a very good standard, and high variety of evening entertainment was served, starting with childrens Mini-Disco, some audience participation events, and later on a variety cabarets. Throughout the day and evening the on-site entertainment team were consistently energetic, and always had plenty of time to integrate with the adults and children at every opportunity.
Not only would we reccomend this hotel, but will seriously consider returning next year.

“An Amazing Holiday!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 August 2011

My husband and I and our 2 girls (6 and 3) have just returned from this hotel after a 10 day stay! We are seriously suffering from holiday blues!

The hotel itself is very well maintained and kept very clean, the rooms are cleaned everyday including towels. Someone on here has mentioned beach towels not being provided they are but for a small fee. But hey who doesn't bring a beach towel on holiday!

Food is ok (I am very fussy though) All the hotel staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble.

The highlight by far for us was the Amazing entertainment team! Lisa (sorry have to put your name too lol),Alan,Rafa and April. They all worked so very hard to ensure guests are entertained day and night. It was a ball. Lots of laughs. My husband Mem won lots of certificates, it actually got embarassing towards the end and I think people were glad when we left on Saturday, as they now might stand a chance of winning one!

The evening entertainment was great and very funny! Who could forget New York,Texas and Las Vegas! Not forgetting Alan's birthday treat for Kirby!

The kids had a fab time too and joined in with everything on offer whether it be boules, mini darts or arts and crafts activities

We met some lovely people and would love to go back again!

By the way Alan if you read this 2 things don't forget my email and "it's coming out like Lava!" x

Room Tip: Pool views are best. You will hear the music but it stops at about midnight!
