Lots to keep kids amused and very good kids pool. were self catering but had a couple of things from the takeaway which were fine. downside was the apartments are very small and decor is dated and tatty. the apartment was far too small for 3 adults and a baby and that actually spoiled our holiday a bit as we were so cramped and the apartment was dark and dingy.

The binimar resort is fantastic for families, travelled in July 2011, with 4 year old that loved the bucket pool, although I have to say food is worst I've ever seen, for first 4 days my daughter ate dried pasta, choices for kids was terrible, 6 hotplates on children's section and only 3 in use!!! Sweets are same only made into different colours, sponge cake in orange/yellow/green/red, blamange - brown, cream, red, very repetitive. Some fresh fruit available but it didn't look very fresh. Restaurant far too small and queues up the stairs and out the door. Not good queing on stairs with a 4 year old child. Pubs in surrounding area had great food - really cheap.5 euros for a great meal. Fantastic free entertainment outside complex at most pubs, bouncy castles/soft play galore, all free as long as you are having a drink. Would definetly go back to this resort but would go self catering.!!! All inclusive guests get served from cafe bar at lunchtime, pizza's, pasta and chips, or you can go to the main restaurant. Ice cream is only served at lunchtime and dinner time on all inclusive. Hope this helps!

I am 30 with a wife and 3 kids aged 2, 9 and 13. I was a rep when I was 20 and know the travel industry inside out. Honest opinion. This hotel is great for families old and young , great for groups of families etc. The rooms are clean and spacious with great kitchen area (Spanish style) comfy beds, the shower had hot water all of the time with good pressure (peak season). The reception staff could not be more helpful some of the most accommodating people I have met. The food was nothing but superb. The main restaurant had daily specials and the widest choice I have seen. The kids always had a full plate and the choice if desserts is great aswel with fresh fruit daily. The bar staff were brilliant. The entertainment was again 100 percent! Bingo, games, music, kids clubs. In the day time water games, try dive, quiz, kids club, creche on site from 6 months old, kids club 4-15. Location 5 min walk from the main super resort which was again fantastic. One tip do not stay at the roc oasis it's bad! Any questions please ask. Happy holidays

We went on this holiday after booking with Thomas Cook as a special deal AI. Went 23.09.11 for a weeks stay at the Binimar. Wasn't expecting much as I had read other Reviews before flying out. I was very surprised many people moaned about the food and having to wait ages. But I don't know why the place was spotless, the waiters and Manager couldn't do enough for you, yes sometimes it may have been warm, but you could heat it up in the Microwave. The choice was marvelous. different food every day.
The rooms could do with Air conditioning in the rooms but get a fan not from the complex but from the Asda supermarket for 1 euro a day plus 20 euros deposit. was in 1 bed appt. basic but clean. The area was lovely right next to a lovely cove and the views were amazing. I would stay next time in the area near the 3rd pool really quiet and the best views. Everyone was really nice and very helpful. One good thing about Cala n Forcat is its friendliness and is really quiet. A must is Maxi's bar for the sunset and a drink. The waiter there is really funny and their garlic bread is to die for! Also Jimmy's for the entertainment on a night. We saw tribute bands - like Fake That and a tribute band to Michael Jackson they were amazing and didn't sit down for the whole 2 and half hours. Amazing. Give the X Factor finalists a run for there money. Go on a bus to Ciuttedella and then change and go onto Cala N Bosch with the lovely marina. Go to Legends bar for a great pint of Amstel lager bargain at 2 Euros! I would definitely stay here more to do in this area and the beach and amenities are so near to hand. We went swimming in the sea it was great and good for small children as the sea is so shallow and you can paddle really far out.. The whole island is great for families. We met some really nice people. Would definitely go back again next year.
