Our stay at the HM Jaime 111 started with disappointment. On arrival after a long journey, my wife and I were told that due to a water leak we had been moved to the Continental in Calle Industria. I don’t know if there was a water leak or not but I was told our room would be available at 11 am the following morning. The hotel did offer to pay for cabs there and back to the Continental. And were very apologetic.

When we did eventually get our Room at the Jaime 111 it was great, The Continental is however also very good. There is actually a bit more space at the Continental, it’s a bit more traditional but the Rooms and bathrooms are a bit better and there are more breakfast options.

On the edge of the city centre this is a great basis for visiting Palma. Rooms are relatively large and well kept. Only downside is that all four sides of the hotel face a street so be sure to take a room in the back where the road is less busy. The aircon system is turned off during the 'winter' months so you will need to open the window for some fresh air.

we stayed at the continental for the first 2 nights of our holiday in majorca. The check in was prompt and the rooms were nice without being anything special(not that we expected for the price we paid).

There are a few bars around the area but we walked into the old town on both evening and had fantastic tapas.

Would have nice of the hotel had a pool but I dont think many hotels in Palma actually have a pool.

Overall nice stay.

An excellent hotel which really lived up to expectations, and to previous reviewers comments. The hotel is conveniently located about a 5 minute walk from the seafront, and just a couple of minutes from superb restaurants and shops.
The hotel itself was wonderful. Friendly, helpful staff ..... we had a lovely spacious wood panelled room, with a massive modern bathroom. We arrived on an early morning flight, and the hotel allowed us to check-in early. On our day of departure we checked-out in the morning although our flight was not until the evening. The hotel staff allowed us to leave our bags, and when we returned to pick them up at about 07.30pm they allowed us to have a shower and freshen up ...... now that is what I call great service. Will certainly stay here again.
