I last stayed at this hotel nearly 30 years ago and stayed there again last week, still a good hotel in a good position but not as good as it used to be. The main bar on the ground floor was a little unfriendly. The rooms are ok but the beds very hard. The restaurant could open earlier, I was on business so 7.15am is a bit late, but the breakfast was ok and the coffee excellent.
However the check in was laborious

Booked a last minute weekend break at the Tryp Bellver. Arrived at the hotel early on the Saturday morning and were able to book into our room straight away. We upgraded to a sea view bedroom which was a good size with balcony overlooking the marina and Cathedral. Maid service was good. A busy road runs in front of the hotel and sitting on the balcony it can be quite noisy however not a problem at night. The hotel is in a superb position a 10/15 minute walk got us to bars, restaurants, cathedral and easy walking into Palma. Breakfast was included in our package and the choice was marvellous. The swimming pool is a good size with nice surrounding area.

I spent ages looking for a good place to stay for our recent long weekend in Palma and I was was delighted that I chose the Tryp Bellver. It is in a great location....across the road from the Marina, 10 minutes walk to the beautiful cathedral and all the great open air bars and restaurants.
We upgraded to a sea / marina view room which was very clean and well furnished. We had maid service and fresh towels each day of our stay. The reception staff were very efficient and helpful making check in / out so easy.
The hotel bar is very nice and not at all expensive. We didn't eat at the hotel as there are several nearby bars and cafes to choose from for breakfast, lunch or dinner. We will definately stay here again when we return to this great City.

Our stay in the Tryp Bellver was very enjoyable. The old town is a pleasant 15 minute walk round the harbour, and it's close to a number restaurants. The room was large and clean, and although bathroom was quite small it had a bath. The balcony was large; though we didn't have a sea view so didn't use it that much. The pool area is lovely, and always plenty of space (unlike many other hotels in Mallorca)-the only downside is traffic noise at rush hour in morning/afternoon.

The reception area is rather grand, though has a distinct musty smell, which meant that we didn't spend too much time at the hotel bar.

Food is excellent, a HUGE choice and great quality.
