Friends and I booked to go there for three nights in mid September. On arrival we were told that there were no rooms available even though we had paid in advance. We have booked two twin rooms independently of each other and neither we available. The very pleasant receptionist told us she had booked us a room at a hotel across the road, the Catalonia Majorica Hotel. So as we had no real choice off we trundled. This hotel was fine but not the hotel we had booked. When we checked in there we were also told that there were no twin rooms available even thought the receptionist from the Hesperia had called to check there were. We eventually got a twin and a double and just settled with that. The following morning we checked out and went over to the Hesperia. The room was not available until 3.30. Its a good job we were happy with a day by the pool! Finally well over a day after arrival on a short break we could unpack and relax.

They did compensate us with complementary breakfast but no explanation was forthcoming and I would be reluctant to stay there again even though the rooms and pool were excellent.

We've just returned from a three night break, the rooms were modern, clean and very comfortable. The reception staff were friendly, although could be more attentive. The pool area is nice although the pool was freezing!!! Didn't eat at the hotel as we were room only, went to Woodys near the marina this was an excellent restaurant. The hotel is situated on a steep hill and although my mum at 72 managed it, not sure it would be suitable for all elderly people. Having said that a taxi rank outside the hotel takes you into Palma for around 5 - 7 euros. We did the train to Soller beware though don't use the cafe it's a rip off!!! Palma us a great city break, it's better than Barcelona feels less threatening, with a more cosmopolitan feel, has it's own Ramblas, cathedral and beach. Put it on your list of places to visit it's well worth it.

its a good hotel. room service, internet, 15 minutes away from bars, restaurants, etc. worth the price.

This Hotel is rated 4 star however it did not offer a Restaurant or Bar facility. The small Restaurant they did have was for breakfast only. The Hotel is situated approx 15 mins from nearest bars and restaurants and is situated at the top of quite a steep hill. We were only here for 4 days but if we had booked for any longer I would be very disappointed. Customer service was ok nothing special, however a big thank you to Antonio who helped me one morning. I would rate this Hotel as a 2 star plus. It is definitely not suitable for children or groups of people looking for entertainment or indeed elderly people due to the hotel location. Couples only.
