Room wasn't very nice, bed not particularly comfortable and wooden floors in the rooms meant that it was very noisy.
Location is good, that's about the only positive thing I can say about it.

I just returned from a business trip from Vitoria. My contacts from there made the reservation but I did not mind. What I loved about the hotel was the position, at walking distance from the center, rooms very clean and off course the free wireless connection for the internet. I have a room with street view, large and I think recently refurbished. One of my collegue had a room with a view from an interior court, not so great. Good breakfast with many varieties for 10 Eur per day. Restaurant was nice, pretty expensive in comparison with the small restaurants from city but the food was good.
Regarding the city, it is clean, nice and quiet. You can make trips easily to Pamplona, Burgos or San Sebastian. If you want even to Biarritz, just 200 km. Nice cities, loved visiting them.
Shopping in the El Boulevard mall and in the city near Plaza Espana.
I would stay here next time without reserves.
