i stay in this hotel in August 08. When i was attending a friends wedding. 08.08.08. It is a lovely comfortable hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious. The Lobby bar is nice and friendly and it was the prefect place for a large group of 30 at a wedding.
Would i go with a small group or as a couple. I am not so sure.
Vitoria is a nice city and I enjoyed my trip. Not sure if i'd return though.

The Silken is probably one of the best deals in town if you are looking for a nice and modern, clean and high-standard hotel in Vitoria-Gasteiz. We booked a room for just 60 euros per night (for a standard double room). The room is not big or small and there is nothing special about it, but everything is new and very clean. They also provide free wireless internet and there is also a computer in the main lobby for public use.

The hotel is located right outside the historical center, but just a 10-15 minute walk away, and the location is still very good, as a couple of the city's best restaurants are within a short walk from the property. (There is Zaldarian which is about 5 minutes away, and Ikea (not the Swedish furniture shop, but a local restaurant) which is 1 minute away.)

Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

Excellent and well located. This hotel may offer different types of rooms depending on the price, because I paid 50 Eur/night for a double room through Internet, but saw, at the reception desk, that the price was 230 Eur! Even though my room should be one of the "cheap ones", it was very nice, comfortable and ellegant. If I had to say something negative, I would say that the bathroom looked older than the rest of the room (more like a 3-star than a 4-star hotel), but OK anyway.

Following a serious road accident we were so fortunate to have been booked by our Daughter-in-Law into this wonderful hotel where the English speaking receptionists were able to provide needed advice and guidance. Their help, assistance and compassion shown to us, reduced the stress, strain and pain we felt following this unfortunate incident.
We cannot recommend highly enough this fantastic hotel where the facilities are excellent and the staff are great ambassadors for this Hotel and the wonderful country.
