I made a booking to stay at Silken Hotel Vitoria at the 27st of December 2010.I was really upset because my flight was cancelled from Dublin to Barcelona due to the snow.I rang the hotel 3 days in advance to cancel the booking and I was told that because cancellation policy is 7 days my credit card is going to be charged for accommodation.I have worked in travel business in hotels and airports. Always I have taken in account that there are exceptional circumstances were rules do not apply.Once a passenger had a family funeral and for the flight I wrote a ticket on departure by hand at the airport for her cousin without charging fees.It is really sad to see that in Basque Country some people only think about business and cannot see further.In this aspect they should learn from the Irish.What a shame...
