“Nice and quiet hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 October 2007

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights, and have to say that it was a nice and pleasant hotel situated in a quiet area. The rooms are simple yet very clean, and the receptionists were pleasant. Not an expensive hotel, perfect if you're staying for a couple of nights and have your own car, since the city centre is about 20 mins walking. I had breakfast in the city centre, so I can't make any comments about the hotel's breakfast, but their coffee is excellent and quite cheap for a hotel 1,20 €

“Good hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 April 2007

We stayed at this hotel while driving from the UK to the Algarve. THe staff were efficient and polite and the hotel was clean and roomy. The only complaintc we have were that the view was overlooking
a building site and it was very busy with cycling teams,

“Comfortable but distant from city center”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 August 2006

This is an overpriced luxury hotel with good service but with a number of inconveniences. The most important one is its location. It is too distant from the city center and the beaches, and one must use one's own transportation to access both. Parking in San Sebastian is very difficult, and the winding streets around the hotel (located in a hill) make finding its location rather difficult for the first-time client.
In addition, the hotel does not have a breakfast buffet, but an old-fashioned a la carte service with very limited choices. This is not in line with other 4 star hotels in Spain. Dinner prices were at sky rocket level: 32 euros per person for a meal without beverages: simply overpriced. We spent three nights there but, in retrospect, would have chosen a more centrally located hotel with easier access to the many amenities of this resort city.

“Nice Hotel shame about the service”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 April 2006

April 2006, This beautiful hotel was spoiled by the complete lack of customers service, no food on Sunday evenings and miles from any where to eat, Plus the hotel was full with a 2 cycle teams who took up all the parking spaces. The staff were not interested or helpful to any other guests. Breakfast was tiny and not as stated on the menu and the staff were rude. The Hotels excuse was that they do not own the resturant. This hotel definitely did not get its 4 stars for customer service

“Great hotel in a quiet neighborhood”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 December 2004

I stayed at this hotel in December 2004. It was clean, spacious, very business like. It is located in a residential neighborhood, very quiet and nothing to do around it. Walking to town takes about 30 minutes downhill, a taxi is about 5 Euros. Good location to rest without being disturbed, but away from the city activities.
