El servicio es antipatico y prepotente. Dado que habiamos reservado por booking no nos facilitaron ni habitacion con vistas al mar (lo bueno de este hotel) ni cama de matrimonio. Ademas, una tal Sra. Ana de recepcion fue muy poco amable y no nos facilito nada para que nuestra estancia fuera algo mejor. La habitacion tiene ruido y es pequeña. Resumen, si no dan habitacion con vistas a la concha elegid otro hotel.

Only EUR 89 and right on the beach with a great view in San Sebastian. Lovely classy old place and San Sebastian well worth a look as it's great for a night out.

Very good location but unfortunately single rooms are too hot especially on the upper floors since there is no proper ventilation.Breakfast is not included in the price and they want to charge you 11euros.Either then that everything was ok.

The Niza was the surprise hit of our trip to the Basque Country. We'd wanted somewhere smart enough but not too expensive to stay in San Sebastian and followed the reviews here. We didn't expect much but left charmed! Having never visited San Sebastian before, we were unaware of how marvelous the Playa de la Concha beach is, and the Niza's location on the promenade overlooking the beach and the water is perfect. The hotel has a slightly old-fashioned and maritime feel to it. Our room with a sea view was decorated simply with one large window and French window, flooded with the sight of the sea. The bathroom was only a little tired, in kind of a sympathetic way. The sound of the waves at night was wonderful. If you stay, and have rented a car, be sure to book a parking space in their garage ahead of time (this isn't something they necessarily mention when you book) as parking in the city isn't easy and there are limited parking spaces in the garage. However, the garage has extremely tight turns inside, so be prepared for that also! Service is efficient and friendly. I'm sure we wouldn't have been so happy if we didn't have a room with a sea view (you can't guarantee one when you book). It's a short walk to all of the fantastic tapas bars of the old quarter.
