Pretty standard 3 star hotel. Surprisingly clean and well maintained. Staff are helpful. In a reasonable spot just one black back from the beach. A good cheap alternative.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hostal Bahia and found it great value for money. The location is very good being very close to the beach and an easy walk to the old town. The staff were very helpful and a good breakfast was provided.

I would have said it was a little overpriced, but not a bad place to stay. My biggest complaints would have been some unfriendly staff members and that the bathroom doors offer no privacy-nothing major. However, when I received my credit card statement, I found that I had been charged twice. I tried e-mailing, as I was no longer in Spain, but they didn't respond so I had to report it as a fraudulent charge. So be very wary about how you pay. Apparently they don't care to amend such mistakes.

I just got back from Spain 2 weeks ago. We stayed at Hostal Bahia in San Sebastian for 2 nights. I had no idea what to expect because of the poor reviews I read from Trip Advisor, however I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. They renovated the hotel recently and our room was small but very nice. The bathroom was large (another very pleasant surprise) and completely renovated. We stayed in the basic double room so I would imagine the superior double to be even nicer. Also, I did not have any issues with the service. I thought the staff was very helpful and friendly. I have nothing but good things to say about Hostal Bahia and I would definitely stay there again. It is a small, boutique type hotel so don't expect the Hilton and you'll be fine. As for San Sebastian, what an amazing place! I can't wait to return.
