The staff in the hotel very helpful but could not speak English. Parking was an additional cost but handy in the city. Hotel 5 minutes walk from the city centre although next to the red light district. Rooms clean but very seedy as was the entire hotel very tired looking. Breakfast is not available

We stopped overnight here on an unplanned trek across europe after the volcano eruption. About the only bad thing I'd say about it was that there was an odd stain on the floor, but it did look like a red wine accident to us. We took a 3 person room which worked out at just over 60Euro. Shower was clean, powerful, warm and didn't leak everywhere. Could do with a mat though as it's a bit slippy on the way out. Beds were comfy, sheets clean and the room was very quiet overnight. There's free wireless internet available in the rooms which was patchy, but worked. The reception staff were friendly and helped us sort out food late at night and got us to the bus terminal in the morning. For info it was about 5 min walk from the train station to the hotel and only a few metro stops to the buses. Not sure how it's placed for city attractions however as we didn't stay long enough to find out.

If we found ourselves back in Bilbao we'd consider staying here for a while longer.

Went with a group of students. One of the girls was covered in bedbug bites indicating an infestation in the room (and yes, she saw them). The hotel was quick to find us another room but she paid full price for her stay. If it wasn't for the bedbugs, it would have been an excellent stay. The customer service was good, they speak English, the rooms are clean and the cleaning lady comes through everyday.

I would highly recommend the hotel to travelers if/when they resolve the problem. In all fairness, this is happening to several hotels and hostels.
