I stayed here in October, and had a very enjoyable stay, perhaps because it was slightly 'off season' so not too busy. The first thing I noticed was the fountain decorated with crockery and a fallic-like stone pillar centre-piece, quirky furniture and cool graphic paintings, which make it pleasant environment. It's main selling point is convenience. It's very easy to get to from the airport. Take the airport bus and get off at the first stop. It only a 100 metres walk to the back door. It's a stone's throw to the Guggenheim - just across the street, so this hotel is definitely the closest you can get. We had a lovely breakfast on the roof terrace with nice views of the Guggenheim. The room we had had no view, but we didn't mind as it was very clean and comfortable. I'd recommend if you only have a short time in Bilbao, to stay here, as you have the two main art galleries close by, plus the tram stop and bus stop very close too. It's a 15 min walk to the old town. The bar on the ground floor had live music on Friday and Saturday night. There is even a very small sauna.
