You cannot be closer to the Gugenheim museum than hotel Miro.
Rooms are a bit small but very comfortable and well appointed.
A sumptuous buffet breakfast in the morning with hot croissants and fresh juices.
No restaurant but a 12 hours open bar with snacks, coffee, tea and, yes, wine. Completely free.
Very helpful staff ready to give you any info about the city and its restaurants.

My husband and I stayed one night at the hotel Miro. The staff was friendly and the room was nice. Great location if you are planning on going to the Guggenheim, great views.

Nice small hotel, well designed, as the rest of Bilbao, lots of interesting architecture in the hotel. Sufficiently well equipped, right next to the Guggenheim museum. Staff is friendly, only negative point is that the breakfast is far from sufficient, especially considering the high price they ask for it.

Just returned from a truly lovely 3 day stay at the Hotel Miro.
There are so many things to rave about when reviewing the Miro.
The location is stellar --right across from the Guggenheim --- an easy walk to other parts of the city too ....
We took advantage of a special promotion we learned of upon arrival and were able to upgrade to a junior suite for only an additonal 20Euros per night -- well worth it ---
The hotel offers complimentary beverages (sangria, water, juices, sodas,beer etc)in their club lounge daily from 1:00pm -10:00pm and it's a great way to relax and unwind after a long day of muesum going and sightseeing.
The staff here all speak English very well and are friendly and professional and very helpful.
You'll love the Miro .....
