We were pleased with the Hotel. It was a pleasant 10 minute walk to the Guggenheim Museum. The rooms were quiet and comfortable.

Stayed here for two nights after one night at the rather inferior Silken Indautxu. We had two superior rooms booked and one was smoking and one non-smoking as requested. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. There wasn't a great view but as were out and about most of the time this wasn't important.

The bathroom was large and clean with beautiful toiletries.

The weather was quite cold and wet for our stay so coming back to the lovely warm rooms was welcome.

The location is great, right on Gran via within walking distance of the Guggenheim and the shops. There are lots of very tiny bars in the area that get very full especially when Atletico Bilbao are playing at home as the ground is just around the corner from the hotel.

The staff on reception were friendly and helpful. They recommended some restaurants to us and the one we chose was excellent.

Just around the corner is a pub called the Winston Churchill where the barmen put on a good show making the drinks.

I would definitely stay here again if I returned to Bilbao.

Overnighted here whilst on the way back from Santiago di Compostela because we wanted to see the Guggenheim. Clean, functional, but terribly terribly bland. Parking a bit of a nightmare too. Not one of the most memorable parts of the stay.

I stayed here for two nights 22-24 June, 2007 for business purposes. The hotel is located at the Gran Via, the main street near to Plaza Sagrado Corazón. It's very close to the congress building. Along this street a lot of shops. The Guggenheim is at 15 minutes walking distance.

Nice, quite spacious room for European standards, two comfortable chairs, wireless internet expensive (17 EUR for 24 hours). Airconditioning was not working properly, but lucky enough outside temperature was not too bad. It is a good business hotel and tourists will probably like it too.
