Although this hotel is outside of city center and in a somewhat industrial area, it was perfect! Parking is free, reception is very friendly and helpful, and restaurant dinner was very good; however a bit spendy. There are local restaurants close by or eat in town before returning to the hotel. The hotel bar could be improved. Our room was very nice. We took the city bus into the center; very easy and inexpensive. Under similar circumstances, we would stay here again. We would probably not stay here if we had to get back to the airport, but we had our own car.

No citicism of the hotel itself: the room was nice, the food was excellent and the staff were helpful BUT - its location is a major drawback. It's in an industrial area with no nearby bars or restaurants. It's only close to the airport if you have a car or a cab driver who knows the local roads. Going around the motorway makes it as expensive to get here as to travel into Blbao itself - and you don't have the option of the bus. Best regarded as a business traveller's stopover.

Arrived at this hotel late in the evening. I booked it for one night as it was advertised as an airport hotel and we were collecting the hire car at the airport the following morning.

It wasn't that close to the airport and it cost 15 euros each way for a taxi to take us there and back the next day.

It is situated in a rather run-down industrial area with very few places to eat dinner. The hotel restaurant itself was closed, as it appears many are during August. They go on holiday!

The hotel itself though was excellent. Rooms were very clean and everything you need for an overnight stop was provided.

The staff were friendly, helpful and spoke good English. The barman even offered us a lift [after he finished his shift at 9.30pm] to a restaurant he could recommend as long as we could get a taxi back! Very kind and helpful!

No criticism at all of the hotel - just that it wasn't near the airport as I had expected.

A great place to stay. Easy access to the airport. Restaurant had wonderful food. Friendly, helpful staff.
