Stayed here from the 6th to the 8th October with 18 other members of the Arklow Silver Band. We were in Bilbao to play at the naming ceremony for the Arklow Forest a cargo boat that was built in Bilbao. We were brought over by Arklow Shipping and they really looked after us.
The hotel was exceptional from check-in to the room quality to the food served in their restaurant. The staff were very courteous and always helpful.
Hotel is situated very close to the city center and ideal for discovering the delights of Bilbao.

Arrived with a group of 19 others and we are all part of the Arklow Silver Band who were in Bilbao to play at the naming ceremony of a new boat for Arklow Shipping which was called the Arklow Forest. We arrive on Thursday 6th October and stayed for 2 nights. We had Breakfast and our Evening meals here and I can't fault any part of our stay. Hotel was excellent and so were the staff and the facilities.

The location was perfect - just 2 blocks from the train station and a block from Cafe Iruna - but everything else was merely average.....The room was clean, but furniture is old and the bed acceptable but not really comfortable. The in-room safe didn't lock. The linens were worn and rough, though clean. Acceptable accommodation for a night at that price (76 euros), but nothing to write home about.

This is the greatest hotel! Nestled in Bilbao's hub-bub of activity, we tripped upon it during fiestas in Bilbao. They are awesome- the service is fantastic, a quiet getaway from fiestas, but maybe thirty steps away from a flurry of activity. Even though we weren't actually staying there, they allowed my husband to use a conference room for free in a pinch. We tried to pay them and they wouldn't take any money saying they needed to provide for their clients. We told them we weren't clients, our friends were guests. They repeated, we take care of our guests. Amazing. Our friends who stayed there LOVED it. The restaurant is awesome, the hotel clerks amicable, professional and willing to accommodate anything. The bartenders are the funnest and most personable group of people you will find. What an awesome place. If you stay in Bilbao, I personally recommend this place. Perfectly located, simple elegance.
