stayed at the hotel whilst visiting a friend. found it quite hard to find budget accommodation in the city and this was about the cheapest place we could find. we booked for and paid in advance for a double room for an adult and infant and asked for a baby cot. when i arrived at reception they had my booking but wanted to allocate me a single room. i pointed out what it said on my hotel voucher and there was no problem in allocating me the room type paid for and i had the choice of a twin room with two beds or a double room with a double bed. i chose the twin room as the hotel also had no note of my cot request nor did the receptionist ask me if i wanted or needed one.

the room was large but basic. it had a tv. two small beds, a table and three chairs. there was also a basic bathroom with a shower, WC, basin and bidet. no hairdryer - we had to request one from reception to dry our hair.

the room also had a television but only had basic spanish channels. no sky tv or foreign channels were available.

we did not eat in the hotel but bought provisions from teh supermarket, mas y mas, next door and i was able to give my little girl breakfast in the room at our little table. there was no kettle or tea making facilities. the hotel does have a bar and room service is availible but it is quite expensive. there are also other bars and a pizzaria nearby so you will be able to buy stuff in and eat quite cheaply nearby.

the room was cleaned everyday even when we put the card up so that we would not be disturbed. the cleaner simply waited until we were out to do the room. there were fresh towels when required and the beds were always made.

... and that is about it really for my review. we had what we asked for. the room was clean and had all the basics except for a hairdryer. the only complaint i have is that the room had no view and backed on to a courtyard where there was some tarpaulin up covering some building work. there was no building work going on when we were there.
the door in the bathröom also jammed shut on the last night but we were able to open it again thankfully.
