Central location, clean, spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and free internet, within walking distance of everything you could want to see or do in Gijon. The service was OK- polite and matter-of-fact, which suited me well. Excellent value, one of the better values in Spain

Family of four stayed here for 1 night as a transit stop before catching ferry back to saint nazaire.
Lovely art deco style hotel next to the casino in a very central part of town. We used the carpark 2 minutes walk from the hotel and received a voucher from the hotel for reduced carpark costs.
All staff at the hotel we found to be extremely friendly,polite and helpful.
We booked a suite - it was very spacious, the beds were very comfortable with quality cotton sheets,the room and all of the hotel was spotlessly clean.
Buffet breakfast was of very good quality, great coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice.
The view from our room was not all that interesting- but we had not specified a room with a view when we made our booking !
All in all an excellent hotel and amazing value for money..

Excellent hotel. Comfortable and clean, modern interior, friendly staff, central but quiet. All these in a four-star hotel at a very low price. In comparison, some of my colleagues stayed at a hotel that charged twice, and were full of complaints about it.

Compared to other places we stayed in northern Spain this was the best value of all. Rooms & bath were large, clean, modern, and well-furnished. Convenient (paid) parking is nearby as well as many restaurants, cafes, and the shoreline. They advertise 5-star sized rooms at 4-star price and I agree. Add free WiFi as well as 2 house PCs for guests to use and it's a good package. Breakfast offers 3 pricing choices (recently increased prices) but are about the same as anywhere else.
