This hotel is in a side street almost opposite the train station. While this is handy, it is some distance from the central part of town, which involves a 15 minute bus trip. It is a bright modern hotel, that serves breakfast and has free internet service.

Having a business engagement in Zaragoza that ended at 2.00pm and nothing to do till the next morning, I wanted a good environment to pull out my notebook PC and catch up on work. This was just the right place. Ideally close to the railway station and well connected to the city centre by bus. Check-in was quick and easy, and the room was spacious and well-lit, with a large window facing towards the station. The beds were comfortable, the bath was well-appointed with free toiletries, toothpaste etc. Just enough to watch on telly (2 english-language news channels), a minibar fridge to keep my snacks cold, and most importantly for me, lightning-fast free WiFi access. Heating was excellent too and after a productive afternoon and evening getting ahead on several projects I enjoyed a very quiet night's sleep.

Stayed in the Plaza Delicias during Expo as its prices came tumbling down from the ridiculous heights they had been earlier in the summer to something more acceptable.

The hotel is located near to a massive new Plaza Delicias railway station - which looks like it has had huge chunks of Euro money thrown at its outward design, but inside is still largely like it was before!

The hotel is very modern and clean- probably only recently opened for the Expo - and functional. Rooms are OK without being in any way surprising with smallish but fairly well designed bathrooms. Air conditioning essential and very good. TV only Spanish speaking channels (and not very good.) Bathroom had bath but only over-bath shower, not particularly effective.

Breakfast excellent with superb fresh orange juice and made to order coffees. Snack dinner - taken due to late departure of Ryanair flight - very poor with cold red wine!...and frozen pizza.

Post Expo I would suggest that this hotel will probably be virtually empty and that a fair rate to pay would be £45 per night b & b
Taxis to centre about £4, bus about 50p. Airport bus drops one off (and picks up) at the station about 500 yards away

We booked this hotel because of it's location near the main railroad station. Wasn't quite as close as we thought, but close enough. Very quiet, friendly and helpful front desk staff. They even knew how to find a little-known restaurant in downtown Zaragoza.
