This hotel is in a perfect position to visit the beautiful city of Zaragoza. Reception staff were very welcoming and the room was comfortable and quiet. We had a view of the Basilica which was only 2 minutes walk away. The other big plus is the free WiFi throughout the whole hotel - why don't other hotels provide this excellent service for free ?Everthing is within walking distance - the old town with many bars and restaurants and the more modern shopping area around the Plaza Espana. I would thoroughly recommend a visit to Zaragoza before too many other visitors discover it. There is an airport bus which takes 45 minutes and costs 1.60€ - this drops you at the edge of the city and then you have to walk (15 mins) or take a taxi 5€. A taxi from the hotel direct to the airport takes 25 mins - 17€.

The hotel was nice and the staff was very helpful. The location is very central. However, the beds and pillows were uncomfortable. Overall, good experience and would recommend.

Catalonia Zaragoza Plaza is everything you would want a hotel to be in a smaller city. It is in the middle of the tourist area, close to everything. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and reasonably priced. Only problem was dinner in the hotel; skip it. We were too lazy to go out, but we should have. Parking is available in a garage a couple of blocks away. Front desk is very helpful with directions, and generally very hepful. Very good choice in Zaragoza.

The location of the hotel is superb! Right in the center and quite silent at the same time. Rooms are of very small size, not mentioning that the bed was really too short!!! The reception was not willing to find a solution, did not propose an upgrade, nothing… Simply ignored the complain. Since purpose of the hotel is to offer great sleep, this one was terrible- short, extremely hard beds…
