The Tibur hotel is right in the main square in the old town of Zaragoza. Outside of the interesting old town, Zaragoza is a sprawling industrial town on a very flat plain. I recommend visiting the extraordinary Moorish fortress if you're in town. The hotel was fairly run-down but basic and fine for the money. We paid 68 euro for a double for one night. Decor was drab but the place was clean and breakfast was okay. Certainly nothing special but I'm not sure there would have been many better places to stay in Zaragoza.

I really liked this hotel. The staff literally bent over backwards to make our stay enjoyable. They really cared about the guests. The rooms were ok and the airconditioning wasn`t quite cool enough, but the staff made all that unimportant. The location is excellent, we had a wonderful view of the Basilica from our balcony. The price was very reasonable. I recommend this hotel especially if you don`t go in the hot summer months.
