“Location, Location, Location......”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 June 2008

This hotel is quite normal..... nothing special except its location. The street can be quite noisy at night so I recommend ear plugs. I was charged €169 for 1 night..... All hotels in Zaragoza are taking advantage of us tourists during EXPO 2008. If prices were not so inflated I would have stayed in Zaragoza many more nights but I decided to spend my money in other Spanish cities.

  • Liked — 2 balconies over-looking main street
  • Disliked — needs a few upgrades

“Perfect location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 April 2007

Chose this for a two-night city break and it was perfectly located. Room was clean and spacious, with view over the cathedral. Buffet breakfast was fairly good - great cakes, lousy sausages, but plenty of choice. Staff were not especially friendly, but everything went very smoothly - even the mini bar prices were reasonable!

  • Liked — Right on the main square, two minutes walk from the two cathedrals and easy walking distance of all the other sites
  • Disliked — Staff were a bit brusque, but perfectly competent

“Perfect location but avoid 4th floor rooms!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 December 2005

I must absolutely agree with the tripadvisor member from Welwyn Garden City, U.K: The last floor (4th) is incredible: it has no elevator (it only gets you to 3d floor and you has to walk up the stairs then) and the rooms are very -very- small, with a very small window (if you can call that hole a window), and terribly noisy (i'm spanish and for me they were noisy so if you are french, canadian or swiss please do yourself a favour and take another floor).

On the other hand, the hotel location is perfect (20 mtrs from El Pilar Square, in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the city and it has a huge buffet breakfast.

The staff also is very kind and usefull and you have free newspapers to take to your room on the entrance desk.

Hope this helps!

“Great location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 June 2005

Nice little hotel - avoid the top floor rooms (I booked very late and the hotel was nearly full as a ballet company performing at the nearby theatre was staying there) as they are small and don't really have a window, just a skylight. Saw the rooms on the other floors and they looked pretty good. Good value and the location simply can't be beaten - everything right on your doorstep including the main tapas bar area (so could be noisy at night).
