Although this hotel is not located in the old town, the excellent facilities of the hotel made it well worth the extra traveling time. Friendly receptionist, great rooms, clean, spacious, free wifi! Highly recommended.

We booked this modern hotel through booking.com and got an excellent deal on two rooms. We found it's location by the e90 was ideal for our stopover from Alicante to Santander as it was easy to get back on route the next morning. If you're flying in the airport is on your doorstep here and the hotel offer a free shuttle service, the airport didn't cause any problems even though it was so near!
We were checked in by a very friendly and professional man who accommodated our request for two rooms on the same floor as we had our children in a separate room and wanted them near. He told us he only had a double and a twin together on a smoking floor which we took but were unsure about. However we need not have worried as neither room smelled or had any signs it had been smoked in!
The rooms were light and spacious with comfortable beds, flat screen tvs (no English channels even though it said it had), free wi-fi and a gorgeous bathroom complete with full size bath and separate shower with nice toilettes.
We parked our car in the secure underground carpark and had a gin and tonic in the bar. Good size drinks which were well worth the 6€. We ate in the restaurant on the evening with our children. The food was lovely and the waiter was hard working and helpful. We had a fanta lemon, two bottles of water and a bottle of red wine for drinks. Our starters we shared a scrambled egg dish with prawns and mushrooms, a mixed grilled vegetables and a platter of toast with tomato, cheese and Serrano ham. All of these were excellent! For mains the children had chicken and vegetable brochettes (skewers) and grilled swordfish, both of which were delicious. I had sirloin steak which came out as a fillet steak to my delight! It was cooked and seasoned perfectly! My husband had suckling lamb which ge described as "eyes roll back in your head good!!" I'm alergic to lamb sadly so I missed out! The bill was 81€ which was excellent value.
This hotel is a lovely hotel and I would recommend it to anybody.

The staff at this hotel are very attentive and helpful. From collecting me from the airport with a smile, to taking me to and from the exhibition centre, sending faxes.....it was all done with friendly professionalism.
The rooms are very spacious and well soundproofed, with a good shower, decent sized bath and everything was very clean.
There is a wide breakfast choice from hot food to buffet - you name it and they probably serve it.
I ate fish on both evenings I stayed. The first time the cod was well overcooked, the second night the turbot would not come off the bone as it was undercooked. The evening meals were the only let-down in an otherwide very pleasant stay. Due to the hotel location you would need to take a car to find anywhere else to eat.
