We booked this hotel and got a good rate for 3 nights over a long weekend. The hotel is located in the AVE train station but was also easily accessable by car. It was a quick 10min bus ride to the centre of the city too on a frequent bus. On arrival the serivice at checkin was quite slow with only one person and a queue of about 7 groups developed. The room we got looked really nice on first impressions however later on we noticed lots of stray hairs all over the place. Not enough to complain but just not clean. After cleaning the next day many of these were cleaned up. On the first night there was heavy rain and there was a very loud dripping noise in the bathroom. We rang reception and were given the reply that it was normal when it rained and that there were no more rooms available. Luckily we were tired and slept through it. The next morning there was no hot water but this was fixed by 10am so thankfully we could take a shower. The rest of the stay was pleasant enought however not once did we get a 'hola' or good evening as we walked in past reception. On checkout the girl merely took our payment and handed the reciept saying 'this is yours' and walked away. It was VERY surprising that there was no thank you or anything like that.
On the whole the hotel facilities are good for the price but service really needs to be worked on!

Oh I could go on and on about this hotel. First the front desk folks are so accomodating! A darling young girl checked us in and then I had a couple of requests out of the ordinary and Lois Miguel went OUT of his way to make sure he could help me. I think he must be the hotel manager. This hotel is located at the Zaragoza train station and our room overlooked the train platforms so you could actually watch the trains coming and going. We LOVED this! Our room had GREAT AC and we didn't lack for a thing. Our beds were very comfortable and we even had a flat screen TV that got a few American channels. My daughter had been living in Zaragoza for 3 months and it was very easy to visit her by grabbing a bus outside the train station for one euro. We changed buses and paid another euro to get to her apartment . What a deal.
I love this hotel and if I come back to Zaragoza I would NOT consider staying anywhere else. I think I paid 115 Euro's for two nights and this included all taxes. If you are traveling by train , don't consider staying anywhere else but the HUSA at the train station. GREAT location, GREAT service and GREAT room!!!
Oh ,we had a GREAT all you can eat meal in town. None of us got the name,but it's in Pilar square near La Seo. It costs 13 Euros and is worth every bit of the price.

Nearby the Expo-parc (nice for jogging), but a long walk to the center of the town. Shopping center and Carrefour nearby (closed at sundays). We spended one night in this hotel. Very, very friendly staff and english spoken. Our bikes got a nice and safe place in the luggageroom. Spacious and comfortable room. Well isolated from noise outside (traffic nearby). We only payed 50 Euro (internet), the night from sa to sun, a great bargain!
