The top floor apartment where we stayed for 5 nights was perfect for us because of the stunning view of the Basilica and great location to the historical sites of Zaragoza and the enjoyment of the shops and cafes of Calle de Alfonso. We are a family of four, two parents and two teens. The apartment is a loft type of room - one large open space with a double bed,two twins, living room, dining room and kitchen (including a dishwasher and washing machine/dryer). I believe the couch may open to a bed, and there was a roll away against the wall; so it can sleep more than 4. There are several grocery stores and markets, restaurants and cafes within easy walking distance. The reception at the Hotel Sauce was friendly and helpful. We parked our car in the lot suggested by the Hotel. The apartment is simple,comfortable and a good value.We very much enjoyed our stay here and recommend this apartment without hesitation.

We booked Alfonso apartment based on it´s centre location and the great reviews written here and it was so worth all recomments and even more! We checked in and got the keys at Hotel Sauce´s reception, which is located on Calle Espoz y Mina just couple of blocks from the apartment. The service at the reception was so helpful and friendly, no wonder Hotel Sauce has also got so great review!

The apartments are located in the corner of walking street Calle de Alfonso I and Plaza de Pilar, so if you are travelling by car like us, you can only stop in front of the apartment for unloading the bags. The nearest parking hall, though quite expencive one (about 22e/day), is about two blocks away. The lift up to the apartments is tiny cause the building is very old, so we had to go up and down couple of times to get all our bags upstairs to the top floor.

But as soon as we got in to our room, we found out that it was so worth it to drag ourselves up there! Somehow we had been upgraded to this huge top-floor apartment (for 5 person) with a large balcony and amazing view to Basilica del Pilar. In this stunning penthouse there was huge living / bedroom with high ceiling, open kitchen and bathroom, all newly renovated and modernly furnished. In the living room area there were two big windows to the balcony and from there we could enjoy absolutely fantastic view over the city of Zaragoza and to Basilica, which was especially in the evening so breath-taking!

I highly recommend Apartamentos Sabina´s Alfonso for everyone visiting Zaragoza! It´s absolutely great value for your money with one of the best locations ever!

We stayed at Apartamentos Sabinas as part of a month long holiday in Spain. As we were travelling with 2 small children (age 4 and 6), we wanted to ensure suitable accomodation every night. We found this place to be a wonderful location - our balcony overlooked the plaza del Nuestra Senora del Pilar, was spacious, and had a washing machine and fully stocked kitchen. It was quiet at night and very clean. The only slight (minor) problem was that it had been smoked in. Maybe they did not advertise the place as non-smoking, but we don't smoke. This was absolutely no barrier to our comfort. We had to check in at Hotel Sauce and walk to the Apartamento, but we were given a first rate welcome. I would recommend this place to anyone!

The appartment is located dead centre of Zaragosa. A perfect location. The appartment is very new and very clean. You not only get daily new soap but even tooth brushes and shaving equipment. Hotel Sauce is just around the corner for breakfast. The ladies at the check-in desk are really helpful and took their time to give relevant information about the City.
