My wife and I stayed here this past May during our travels through Andalucia. We booked a private room at the Pension, since we wanted to save some money while staying in Seville. the Pension San Benito was perfect. We are not used tio staying in Hostels (this is just a very nice hostel), and were very happy with our stay. The room is very basic, but well kept. the walls are a bit thin, but we did not have any issues with noise while there. The location is fantastic and is walking distance to everything. We loved our time in Seville and would recommend this pension to anyone travelling on a budget.

Our room had no window or ventilation (to get air, you had to open up the top part of your door that gave onto the common courtyard - you can see this in some of the pictures) and the problem was compounded when we had to use the bathroom.... The pension is run by a very nice family that let me cancel my second night's stay with them at no charge.

Pension San Benito Abad is a nice simple pension in the heart of the funky part of Seville. Right in the middle of all the action. Bars, restaurants, tapas bars and a great ice cream maker.

I chose this accommodation based on the reviews here,and have been very disappointed with what's on offer here. Small rooms with no window, no door-just a curtain to the en suite.

I have stayed in every kind of accommodation over the years and the only way this venue can be rated as anything more than good is if you're usual experience is staying in a hostel. Security is questionable, the insistence on silence in the common area makes it rather atmosphereless and the reception service is pretty much non existent. Strictly for young, (low) budget travellers only!..
