“Fantastic hotel and the best service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 January 2012

This place is truly surpassed all my expectations. I decided to return to Sevilla after 10 years and I couldn't have picked a better place to stay. I went with two friends and I shared a room with one. This hotel is perfect for couples as it is well very romantic.

Since we arrived there we were greeted by Carmen who was very pleasant and helpful. She took care of anything we needed + she managed to endured our never ending chats!!!

The rooms are very spacious (we got the Junior suite) and I loved the Moroccan theme. They give you great olive oil as a souvenir from the hotel.

The room had very spacious bathroom with tub & shower (unheard off in europe)
Little kitchenette with all the drinks you can imagine (no snack thou) but you only had to go to the reception where they had a good selection of spanish style food.

The breakfast is included in your rate and the lady who serves it for you is a sweetheart as well.

The location is perfect you can go get anywhere from there and I also suggest for you to book a tour thru the hotel we got a lady called Carmen who was excellent and tailored the tour to our needs.

Overall I recommend this place and I will return soon with my boyfriend!

Room Tip: Junior suites are very spacious they are not completely quiet but before 12 all the noise is gone...

“Great staff and location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 January 2012

WE stayed 5 nights in a superior room. The room was across the road from the main hotel and you used a key code to enter. It was a large room, newly done out clearly by someone who loved technology. Electric blinds, fancy lighting, a huge double headed rain shower, espresso machione, DVD.

The shower was build intyo the internal courtyard, leaving about room for a large Urn outside and no way for any daylight to penetrate to our ground floor room. The lighting in the bathroom was bright or bright, bit of a problem if you like a low light at night say. The bed was great, comfy and king size and the staff changed the feathers to non allergic without fuss.

It looked at a blank wall though, the wall mounted TV being in an unhelpful position where the room narrowed towards the wardrove area/sofa bed. We didn't go to Seville to watch TV so its did not matter but you would risk a serious crick ion ther neck if you did care.

The sofa bed end of the room also had a large fitted wardrobe, very high so for tall folk only. It was very dark at that end, so beware cto anyone who wanted to colour co-ordinate their clothes. No decent lights, unlike the bathroom.

The espresso machine we had was broken, but replaced at once when we mentioned it. There is a fridge and microwave, but no coffee table or anywhere to eat that's nice ( in bed or on the dark sofa) but you can go into the main building and onto the pleasant roof terrace.

We went in Jan and it was still warm up there, but we had to ask the staff to open up each time as its not usede much in Winter by thye look of it.

We found the staff at Corral unfailingly helpful and pleasant both fixing our minor problems and advising on things to do, places to eat etc. Breakfast was ordinary, bit boring as we were there 5 days but fresh roll, croissant and toast was all fresh and tasty.

The one caveat we had was there are no staff on overnight, and we had some diffilcuties sorting out a taxi as a result.

Room Tip: Head for the main building not the new annexe I suspect - the pictures of the rooms we did not have...

A pricey boutique for Seville, however the rooms and service are excellent! Staff are personal and friendly, WiFi is included free, and the simple breakfast is excellent!

Would definitely come back.

“Just a perfect city bolt hole”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 December 2011

This is a proper boutique hotel with lovely decor, personal touches and a nice relaxing feel to the place, as well as being close to the city centre. We made the mistake of coming by car and got lost in the maze of lanes around the hotel but once there and with our car in a local underground car park, we had a great experience, with a lovely room full of character which had an amazing bathroom, and friendly helpful staff, who gave us a great restaurant recommendation and ideas for places to visit. A late breakfast on the roof terrace with views over the city, was lovely.

“Stop Looking and Book a Room”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 November 2011

What a pleasant surprise! We were lucky enough to stay here during our four day trip to Seville. This hotel exceeded our expectations in most every way!

Rooms: We were in Room 11, which they call a Junior Suite (would not be a Junior Suite in the states), and it's a very nice room with windows opening out onto the street. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was nicely appointed and laid out. The bathroom was really large by European standards and the shower would hurt you if you turned up the power of the water. It was quiet and when the shutters were shut it was literally a black-out on the magnitude of a Vegas hotel! There was a sink, a nice mini-bar, and a very large closet. Not sure what else they could have done to make the room nicer.

Service: The nine-person staff is top-notch. The four receptionists are wonderful young women who must compete with each other to be nicer and more efficient than the previous one. I'm not sure how the owners found four such perfect matches for this job in Seville but they did. Kudos to them and their hiring prowess. The five person housekeeping staff was likewise friendly, efficient, and accommodating. This staff is Peninsula/Four Seasons quality.

Location: A nearly perfect location. A quiet street, more narrow than many sidewalks, just a five-minute walk to the Cathedral through some of Seville's ancient winding streets. There are many bars (bars in Seville are like coffee shops in San Francisco) and restaurants close to the hotel and most of the sites are also just a short jaunt from your base on Corral del Rey.

Breakfast: Food was very good and the small breakfast room gives one the chance to catch up with his fellow-travelers every morning. With the room comes a continental breakfast (coffee, tea, juice, toast, muffins, etc.) and a more substantial breakfast is just 6 euros more. It's a good deal and they are so very flexible about the time. My daughter literally had breakfast at noon one day and they accommodated her with smiles.

Physical facility: Beautiful, well done old building that has been masterfully re-done. Each time we walked into the facility the character of this place put a smile on our face.

Value: They know they are good and they charge for it. If you are looking for a deal there are probably other choices, but if you want what you pay for this is the place for you.

In summary, we are so happy we chose this hotel for our trip to Seville. It was a perfect base for our trip and, like a good hotel will, enhanced our experience with Seville. This is a high recommendation for travelers who appreciate ambiance, location and service.
