This hotel is the equivalent of the UK Marriott chain of hotels.Its very new and clean and very well presented.The bathrooms are excellent with walk-in shower,but only superior rooms have balconies.
The staff were very friendly and helpfull when answering our questions regarding visiting the sites, they even printed maps for us.Theres a safety deposit box in the room at no extra charge.
The breakfast is excellent with a fantastic choice ranging from toast to smoked salmon..The pool on the roof is very small but serves its purpose after a hot day sightseeing.The pool bar wasnt open when we visited (September),
There is nothing to see in the Triana area,but you simply walk over the bridge to the sights (a good 20mins walk) or there is the option of catching a bus which stops outside the hotel.
You can obtain a bus card from reception,but you will have to put money onto it in the small tobacco shop around the corner.

Seville is a lovely city full of genuine people,we felt very safe there,,its amazing but its not the Costas,we struggled to buy an English newspaper.

I was very unhappy with my stay at this hotel, my partner and myself stayed there last week with another couple. Our reason for picking this hotel was the spa facilities. We went to use the Jacuzzi and the water was frozen cold, when I rang reception a girl with poor English said she would fix this and it would be ready in 10 minutes. We waited 20 mins and it was still freezing, when we rang down to reception again she said there was nothing she could do to fix it. We then settled for the stream room which also was not working. When we asked to speak to a manager we were told he was not working. We left a message for him to ring us the next morning and surprise surprise no call!! I would not recommend this hotel as it is over priced for what you get. The hotel rooms are basic and staff are not very good as their jobs. Manager should have been working on a Sunday and the least they could have done is given us a discount or something in return of the lack of facilities!!!

We were travelling to Seville by car and after extensive research, chose the Abba Triana primarily for its riverside location outside of the city centre and the availability of secure car parking to avoid a city centre nightmare. The car was not needed during our stay and I was quite happy to park up and pay the 15euros daily charge for peace of mind.
Its riverside location appeared to be safe, was very quiet and ideal for exploring the surrounding Triana area and was also a short walk over the river to most of the major city centre sights.
We chose the executive rooms which were very modern, well equipped and comfortable. The balcony overlooking the river was not used very much due to the heat but was nevertheless good to have.
The hotel interior was unusual and very impressive, with good facilities and staff were both efficient and very helpful.
Breakfast was more than adequate but I can not comment on the restaurant because other meals were taken at various nearby restaurants and Tapas.
The hotel prices were competetive and I felt represented good value for the overall quality and standards on offer.
I would certainly recommend this hotel as an ideal base for a visit to Seville by car and although it is unlikely, I would be more than happy to stay there again.
It is also worth considering if arriving on foot, if you prefer a good location away from the noise and hustle of the city centre.

The hotel was easy to find driving from Portugal. The receptionist was extremely helpful and friendly. The room was on the top floor and had a balcony but it didn't overlook the river. The room was fine but the bed was not comfortable and the tv was tiny for the size of the room. Good bathroom. The location was very good with many restaurants within walking distance and very nice outdoor lounge bar next door. It was an easy walk in to the centre of Seville. Will stay again.
