Stayed there on Sep. 13th 2010. Checked in and didn't notice that the air conditioning wasn't working. Tried to change rooms later that night but turned out all the air conditioning wasn't working in the whole hotel. It was one of the hottest days of the year and I felt like I was in an oven. The next morning I complained to the management but was told the manager wasn't there and I would be getting 10% off my room and a free breakfast. I accepted the free breakfast but wanted to talk to the manager about only getting 10% off. Thought I should of got a free night or 50% off for no sleep. So when I got my credit card bill I had been charged for the free breakfast and only got the 10% off.

My wife & I are visiting Spain for three weeks and Seville is on our itinerary. After reviewing several travel websites & books, we decided to stay at the Hotel Adriano. Unfortunately, the group U2 were in town on our second night so the hotel increased their rates from 129 euros to 450 euros! To me this is PRICE GOUGING and hotels that do this should be boycotted .....

Air conditioning did not work and it was one of the most miserable stays I have ever had! Southern Spain is quite warm in September and we roasted for two nights. I am a very light sleeper and our room was on a busy street with lots of noise, so I couldn't keep the windows open. Eventually I had to sleep with earplugs and a sound machine, but that did not keep out all the noise. My husband and I roasted all night. The person at reception said that the A/C was not working well all over the hotel, so nothing could be done.

We picked the hotel at random and were very happy with prices, the size and quality of the standard double room and the friendliness of the staff, who speak good English. Parking in the car park the hotel shares with some others is a great novelty (riding a lift in a car was a first) and worked out cheaper than the public underground parks.
The street outside was a bit noisy, but the air-conditioning helped cover that and the location is very convenient for the main sites such as the Cathedral.
