We were enchanted by the Moorish-style decoration of this unusual small hotel and by the friendly and helpful staff. Relaxed atmosphere, good service, clean and comfortable. We had the "San Fernando" corner-room on the 2nd floor (elevator available) which is decorated with great care, including a comfortable four-poster bed. The bathroom features two round basins, wood-frame mirrors and a mosaÏque-tiled bathtub with shower, no shower-curtain, however. Every room is decorated differently and apparently all furniture and pieces of decoration are for sale, therefore furnishings may vary from one visit to the next which adds to the excitement. Only small storage space: one wardrobe- type cupboard, few hangers. Tiny but nice balconies on two sides of the room, which allow the daylight in. Fresh flowers in the room during our stay of 3 nights ! The young ladies and gentlemen at the 24hr-reception desk were very friendly and helpful with directions and recommendations for restaurants. The breakfast buffet which is set up in one part of the small lobby on the ground floor was not exactly luxurious but there was nothing missing (i.e. fresh Orange juice, fruit, cereals, cold meat, toast, butter and jam ..). City center with the Cathedral and Giralda are located within a 15-20mins leisurely walk from the hotel. Sounds from the street can be heard in the room - but then, this is lively Spain ! We didn't care. Secure car parking was provided in the hotel garage. All in all we think this is a charming and convenient place to stay when exploring the treasures of Seville.
