“lack of hygiene!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 February 2012

first of, when we got to the hotel, we got snacks from the minibar wich expiration date had passed 5 days! then, during breakfast, i picked up FIVE glasses with lipstick marks on ALL of them! and the 6th glass i had was not clean, it just didn't have a lipstick mark. the room isn't that clean, also. the location is very good, though. the rate does not match the price. too expensive for what we got.

“Very central however this hotel has no atmosphere”

We stayed here just before Christmas for 3 nights. We found the hotel easily and were very pleased with the central location. This hotel is modern and lacks any kind of atmosphere. The reception staff were OK. It always amazes me that the reception staff don't greet guests with an enquiry as to how their trip was, after all everyone staying at a hotel has travelled to get there !!
We has a ground floor room which was large with a nice modern bathroom. There was only one english channel on the TV. It was great having a laptop, but it was very slow. As everyone has remarked the beds were hard. The one thing I really didn't like was the lack of any type of view. The small window looked out onto a very small dull courtyard. The room was clean. We didn't have breakfast as it was very expensive. I adored Seville. It was by far the best European city I have visited. The Alcazar palace was stunning and I would have liked to spend all day there. It ticked all boxes for me and I can't wait to return, however I will look for a hotel that echos the authentic 'seville' style next time.

“Bit disappointing”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 January 2012 via mobile

Location was good, great places for breakfast nearby, hotel breakfast was expensive and dull. Rooms were small and dark with no view, but they were modern with good size bathrooms, however not somewhere you would want to hang out in.

“Hard Beds, Flat Pillows”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 January 2012

While the location for the hotel was good, the minimalist style was unappealing. The wifi was a problem because we were given the incorrect password by the desk. After they typed the correct one into our device for us, it worked for one time, but every time we left the hotel and came back, it asked for the password again. This was supposed to be a hi-tech hotel. In addition the bed was extremely hard, and the pillows provided were very flat. There were no extras either. Breakfast was expensive, although the coffee machine was appreciated.

“Well located for Seville sightseeing”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 January 2012

Great location, close enough to walk to the main attractions including the Cathedral, Giralda, Alcazares Reales, Plaza Espana as well as the main shopping street. Also there are many fine restaurants within walking distance. The hotel is in a narrow street which was hard to find even with an up to date satnav which took us to the no entry end of a one way street, add to this roads blocked off by workers and poorly parked cars.

Nevertheless once found the Hotel reception staff were great, they assisted us to the car elevator which you need to get to the underground parking of the hotel-approx Eur 22 per day with taxes.

The hotel's central courtyard is bright and welcoming. The free coffee machine here was broken down throughout our stay but we could have coffee from the machine in the restaurant.

The hotel room was a good size but the glass doors for the en-suite facilities were a definite negative. The glasswork looks nice and modern but it gives a feeling of lack of privacy. there is no sound proofing and anyone using the bathroom in the middle of the night will disturb others since the bathroom light also illuminates the bedroom. So the glass partitioned bathrooms are impractical but modern looking

The beds were a nice size but the mattresses were quite firm, some may like this but I did not find the mattress comfortable. Also the pillows were tired and lacked body or substance, perhaps ready for renewal. In room coffee making facilities would also have been a nice touch because coffee from the restaurant was only available in flimsy plastic cups and were awkward to bring to the bedroom. Also the hydro shower fittings were loose and the shower head kept falling off, I placed it on the floor in the hope that the house keeping staff would notice but they simplyy put it back on loosely so it fell off promptly when I used the shower again.

On the plus side, apart from the great location, there was free wired and wi-fi internet in the bedrooms. A Dell laptop was provided which was really handy to check e-mails and to plan out the day. The reception staff were also very polite and friendly.

I would recommend this hotel for its location but the main drawback for me would be the lack of privacy due to the glass bathroom. However this feature is not uncommon in some European countries and may not necessarily bother others particularly. Also for the great location, the hotel prices were quite reasonable.

By the way, the hotel is in a narrow street, although this is not a negative at all, given the great location of this hotel. The street is certainly passable by car and all the streets in this part of Seville were quite narrow anyway.
