This hotel is great service is outstanding, it is close to a variety of shopping centers. Very clean and comfortable rooms.

NH has 3 hotels in Seville. The name "Central" is quite misleading. We accidentally booked this hotel instead of its sister (Plaza de Armas) located in the city centre. We booked and pre-paid through HotelClub.com (another big mistake). We spent countless hours in phone calls and emails to get them to move our reservations (for 13 people), and this hotel would not do it. We called the NH Hotels home office and was told it was up to the discretion of the hotel if they would allow the cancellation. It was not like we wanted to go to some other hotel, we would stay within the chain of NH Hotels! If we cancelled, we would lose all our money, not just a small fee!. HotelClub could or would not do anything, the hotel management said "NO". It was a simple human mistake. They were unsympathetic and unmoving. "Central" should mean that it is central. This is FAR from the city centre. It is at least a 30-40 minute walk to the city centre and a 10 minute walk to the tram. So all of us had to stay there..3 nights. We were not impressed. For an international convention hotel, one would think that guest services, room service and the restaurant people would speak English. NO, they do not. The breakfast, which if you buy it when you check in, is €9 or €15 if you buy when you eat, is a real joke. All continental, a lot of tapas, no hot breakfast at all. Not worth it. We called room service and ordered from the menu (saying it in Spanish as it is on the menu). We ordered 2 sandwiches (both the same) and received 3 sandwiches (1 we ordered, 2 of some other sandwich). We told the man the order was wrong, and he insisted it was correct. We had to call the front desk (only 2 people speak English), who took a long time to answer, all the while the only hot sandwich was getting cold. The front desk person had to translate the problem and finally, he took the 2 wrong sandwiches away and brought us back a corrected bill. pain! Lastly, the cleaning staff do not do a good job. The bathroom floor was not washed before we moved in to the room. It still had someone else's hair on the floor. I tried to get one of the cleaning staff to come and clean it and gave it up and did it myself. They never cleaned the floor while we were there. Bar and restaurant closes early in the evening, so plan ahead.

The rooms are gorgeous with dark wood and metal accents. The bathroom is impressive with shadow lights from the room.

The hotel staff doesn't speak much english, and while this is ok for B&Bs, it is not very acceptable for an international conference hotel that caters mostly to professionals and businessmen. They are friendly though.

The location is great - a 15 minute walk from the City Center.

The restaurant at the hotel is expensive and made a mess of the easiest of things - Pasta. So I must dock a few points for that.

Stayed for 7 nights in July in a family room.

Service was very good; efficient check in.
The room was a little tight for space with the extra bed, however it was well laid out and spotlessly clean.

Good breakfast - lots of variety and fresh food options

The only minor niggle was that the pool bar was never open - the hotel is mainly geared up for business travel and so is pretty quiet during July & August.

The location is good if you are looking for somewhere a little quieter than the city centre - there are a few bars and restaurants within a couple of minutes walk. There is a tram stop a couple of minutes walk from the hotel and you can be right in the city centre within 5 minutes.
