This hotel has the potential to be a goldmine. Great location and nice Sevillana archtecture inside.
The owners of this hotel have neglected the need to modernise and ensure that the staff are making the customers feel welcome.
Spain is not known for good service but the miserable staff who work in this hotel make you feel that you are a nuisance.
Breakfast time is a bizarre experience if not depressing. If you ask for breakfast you'll be served by people who are very unfriendly and lethargic. They have no clue about service or showing respect and consideration for paying guests.
This hotel need to sort out it's act and bring in friendly staff who are not scared of a little work and who can make the guests feel happy and comfortable.
Until they sort this out i would certainly avoid this hotel.

Nothing special about this hotel--the internet site is great looking--but not so great once you get there. Why does all of Spain have twins beds? It is close to the Cathedral--you can walk with no problem (but take a map, you can get lost on those narrow streets of Seville). When we were there, the street in the front of the hotel looked like it had been bombed! It was so torn up, Taxi's would not go down it. Our first impression was rather dismall. The inside was better. The rooms were OK. I really think that we were the only people staying at the hotel the night we were there! No one spoke English, so be prepared!!

Our shower was broken, causing the room to flood. Staff responded in an unsatisfactory way and acted as if it was our fault. The windows were left open when the room was cleaned, allowing the biggest, most aggressive mosquitoes I have ever seen to invade the room. We had to spend a significant amount of time when we first arrived hunting them down, so that we weren't eaten alive. Also, this hotel is not very near to the best areas of Sevilla. I recommend staying as near as possible to the Santa Cruz neighborhood. The rest of the city, with the exception of the Cathedral, is not very interesting.
