I'm surprised at all the negative reviews here. I actually booked another hostel around the corner that must be affiliated with Hostal Lis II, but they were out of rooms so they put me up here. It had a very traditional Andalusian patio that was very cute and inviting. I had a single room (double bed) and paid about 22 euros. I shared a bathroom with the few rooms around me. I would have preferred a room with a window that opened out to the street, but instead had a window that opened out to the patio. This was not a big deal and the only reason I had to complain was that it got pretty noisy around 4 am. Another patron came in drunk and was very loud - but I'm not faulting the hostel for that. Look, this is a good price and a great location. It was clean, the staff was helpful (and spoke excellent English to the group in front of me), and I felt very safe there.
