ust a note to those who are planning a trip to Sevilla. In the Lonely Planet guide Hostel Lis II is recommended. It should'nt be! It is over priced (60 Euro for a double room which is in very bad condition), lumpy beds, no heating in the middle of winter (it snowed an hour north of Sevilla when I went), no extra blankets to give out, and probably the worst thing - no hot water in the shower. And the staff are unfriendly and decieving. When we complained about our room having no hot water, they acted all surprised and shocked and "this is very strange", but about 30 minutes earlier we had heard another pair complain to them about the same problem in their room. We spent two very uncomfortable nights there and just thought it was worth a mention for others to avoid it if possible. And it wasnt just us, because a few weeks later my friend started complaining about a hostel she had stayed in in Sevilla - and it was the same one! She overheard the owners talking about how much they were going to charge a different couple than them, and it was nearly double what she paid!
