Definitely 2-star quality, but within easy walking distance to all of the main attractions. Basic but clean rooms.

We stayed at this hotel for only night because we took an overnight train to Barcelona the next day. We had to take a cab from the train station to the hotel however it was not very expensive (about 8 Euro). The room was quite big and however it had a terrible smell of stale cigarette smoke. The hotel seemed a little run down, the carpeting especially. Not worse hotel I have been in Europe but the worst one on my trip to Spain.

The good things about the hotel were the staff and its location. The staff was nice and helpful. When we arrived there were no towels in the room but the front desk personnel were happy to take care of it for us before we returned from dinner. The front desk was also very helpful in calling us a cab and assisting with the luggage when we left. I must say that we communicated with the staff in Spanish so I cannot comment if there would be an issue with English. There was free WiFi with a code that you could get from the front desk. From the hotel we were able to walk to all the sites, restaurants and shopping.

A friend and I stayed 4 nights in September 2007. We found the staff very cold and unfriendly, not helpful at all under any circumstances. I'm amazed at the positive TripAdviser reviews I've read, our experience was the exact opposite. The surly front desk staff didn't speak or even attempt to communicate in English, so we quickly learned not to ask for anthing, Two fluent Spanish speaking friends attempted to call us at the hotel but were rudely informed that we were not staying there. So the staff weren't helpful even in their own language. The mediocre room was and location was not the best but acceptable. It was the worst hotel on our trip!

My partner and I enjoyed staying at that hotel. Though interior room was a bit dark, 70s style, it was pretty decent. I would recommend it to both younger and older couples.

All in all, nothing to complain. Hotel is located on a small side street near main artery where you can find cafes and boutiques. .

That said, pay attention to where hotel is located. At beginning, we kept getting lost because Seville has lots of small side streets on way to tourist sites.

I believe we payed about $130 CDN per night.

I would recommend it and give it a 2.5 star on 5.
