January is out of season for Center Hotel Sevilla. The pool was closed, as I expected. However, what I did not expect was the sauna had to be turned on by myself upon entering the spa, so I had to wait for half an hour for it to heat up. Also the whirlpool was out of order. So technically, there were close to no spa facilities. The airconditioning was not functioning well. The inside room temperature was close to 25 degrees Celsius, while the outside temperature was a maximum of 14 degrees. Having said that, the rest of the hotel was clean, neat and the staff is friendly. The breakfast buffet is good, the restaurant serves good food at a decent price. The walk from city centre to the hotel was about 15 minutes but felt safe for me. To me this is important as I am a woman travelling by myself. I have to add that the price of my room was quite low. The quality of my stay was in comparison to the price I paid quite good.
