I stayed here in August 2011, in the height of summer when the temperature hit 44 degrees celsius at 4pm! Remember, Seville is recorded as being the hottest city in Europe so be mindful of that. However, the hotel was well equipped to assist us with our stay. We had driven up from Tarifa in the south of the country after spending 2 days on the beach and when we arrived in Seville we were simply overcome with joy upon entering the hotel. The air conditioning was perfect, the floors and walls of the lobby made us feel like we were in a palace! The room was on 10th floor and we had a dual aspect view with a small hallway - booking with tripadvisor meant we paid €260 for 4 nights instead of the walk-in price of €500 per night. It is a 4-star hotel but should be 5. The outdoor pool was amazing and the staff at the pool bar were always friendly and up for a chat. Drinks are served late for when you arrive back at the hotel after a day visiting the sights of the city. Whilst it is about 10 to 15 mins away from the church in the centre of the city (the largest church in the world) and the Alcazar there is a taxi rank outside the hotel on the other side of the road, and fares are always about €5 or €6 so well worth it. And if you are coming in to Seville by train it is only about 20 minute walk from the station to the hotel so that's also really convenient. We found this hotel when we were in Marbella, 2 days before we got there, and we were just simply lucky! If you are going to Seville - book it and do not hesitate!

This hotel has 4 starts but I think it can definitely compete with 5 star ones. Location is quite good and buffet breakfast was also nice.

Hotel is around 15-20 minutes by walking to the historical center of Seville. Tram Stop is 1 block from the hotel though.We also were upgraded to a suite which was great and the price as cheap.

Unfortunately, lot of issues in the hotel...here's a few I can remember : Sofa-Bed was broken at arrival, Wi-Fi doesn't work in the rooms, noone was here to help us with our luggage, no ice in the hotel (they charged 3 euros to get a bucket of ice which I had never seen before), front desk can't really help about the city....

Advantages:
1) Staff trying to help
2) Modern, clean environment
3) Only 1 tram away from everything, 5 min. walk from a big shopping center.
4) Nice breakfast
5) Supermarket just in front of the hotel

Disadvantages:
1) Very slow internet in upper levels
2) Rooms decorations are quite old and need to be renewed.
3) We made a reservation from what seemed to be the hotels site, however powered by another company called centralr.com which takes outrages non refundable deposits and the hotel does not seem to care about this.
