“a nice place, good value for money”

it's a nice place. the family room we had (2 adults+2 teenagers) was nice and spacious. I didn't like the central controled A/C and therefor not beeing able to set the temprature I wanted to have, but it worked ok.

the patio/lobby is a beautiful tranquile place, comfortable armchairs. together with the free cafiteria it provided the early morning types among us a place to read peacefuly without disturbing the sleepers, and also a spot to relax between enterimg the hotel and getting to the room.

location is very good, central. breakfast is ok - no more no less. you must be fully awake leaving the hotel: the sidewalk is about 40 cm wide and it's a busy street. some nice pubs and cafe's down the street, Pilatus house near by in the street, very good good location.

“Lovely hotel but a rude awakening”

Until 9am the morning of our departure this hotel was pretty hard to fault. It's beautifully decorated and calls to mind a Moroccan riad. The adorable man on reception insisted on whipping out a map and bombarding us with tourist info and top tips despite our only staying for one night. His recommendation for dinner was spot on. However everything went heavy machinery shaped when our much needed first-day-of-holiday-lie-in was shattered by a thunderous truck right outside our window. I'm not sure this hotel could ever be called quiet but this was beyond a joke and actually drove us out. Not the hotel's fault of course but worth bearing in mind.

Room Tip: As far from the road as possible!!!

“Great location and value for money”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 October 2011

Stayed for a long weekend and this hotel was spot on. In a great central location and full of character. Service friendly and helpful - gave us a map and directions unprompted. Room and bathroom very clean and cleaned daily. Seville was absolutely gorgeous and would love to go back - if we did, we would definately try and use this hotel again.

“Comfortable and welcoming”

This hotel was very cute and quaint and most of all, welcoming. When we arrived, the front desk person was very helpful and got out a map for us right away. He gave us recommendations on where to go to eat and things to see, which were right on. The hotel room was a good size and comfortable. The only thing was that it could be a little noisy as it is an old building and we could hear people in the next room. I enjoyed being able to enjoy free coffee. Also a word of advice is not to drive here. There isn't any parking in this area and it is located on a very small one way street where a lot of traffic drives through and people are walking. If you have a car, parking a ways away will require a walk, but save you some stress!

“Quaint, Friendly Staff, Comfy, Central Location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 October 2011

I really enjoyed staying here. The staff was great - the guy at the front desk was genuinely friendly and I was impressed that he spoke so many languages and could communicate with every guest that walked thru. The room was tiny but very charming in its simplicity and quaintness. This was the ONLY bed in all of our Spain travels that was super comfortable, which was very welcomed. The bathroom was tiny, but completely functional. The patio is beautiful and very welcoming and bright. The entrance to the hotel is kinda funny because as soon as you walk 1 step out the door, you are literally in the driving path of lots of taxis and motorcycles. The location was perfect - everything was in walking distance and there were great 'locals' tabernas within a short walk from the hotel. I felt very comfortable at this hotel and was a bit sad we had to leave it when we departed to Granada.
