Check-in took ages. The elderly man at the reception desk kept us waiting 15minutes while he completed some other paperwork, and then insisted on filling in multiple forms before giving us our key. Luckily, the room was OK, clean beds and bathroom, and a nice cool room with fully functioning air conditioning unit.

Good for a couple of days stay.

The Londres is around the corner from the Fine Arts museum and about a 10 minute walk from the Cathedral. The location was good and the hotel is basic but clean. The desk staff does not speak any English but that is generally not a problem. We did have trouble understanding the night clerk about a taxi we had ordered for the next day but the taxi came on time so it worked out. If you are looking for a little bit of luxury this is not the place for you but what you get is comensurate with the fairly low rate that they charge. If we returned to Sevilla I would stay in a different neighborhood but this was fine for the two nights we were there.

this hotel is located a bit outside of the normal tourist path but still very near to the main attraction. Hence the neighborhood is calm and we feel we share more of the sevillan way of life.
The hotel itself is nothing fancy. Rooms are clean but noisy, hotel staff is there to hand your keys but don't expect much more.
Id recommend this hotel to anyone who just want a place where to crash after wandering hours and hours in the street of sevilla.

The hotel Londres was actually quite a nice hotel, surprisingly good for the price and in an excellent location just 10 minutes walk from Santa Cruz. The attitude of the staff however left a great deal to be desired and spoiled what was otherwise good value accomodation. Upon checking in, the cranky old man at reception spoke no English and found my rudimentary Spanish something of an amusement. Obviously customer service at the Hotel Londres is like the English language, a complete mystery! We then had to fill in what seemed like dozens of forms, goodness knows what these were for, I've never encountered such a ridiculous palava just to get a room. Every night thereon we were shouted at in Spanish by the same miserable bloke for the cardinal sins of ringing the door bell to be let in or leaving wet footprints on the staircase. Fearing the ordeal of having to pay this particular employee we instead waited until a different person appeared on reception. However this said woman was just as sour faced and even more unpleasant. She even refused to give us a receipt to prove we had paid, until we protested.
In general I wouldn't stay at the Hotel Londres unless you speak perfect Spanish or like being treated like something someone just stepped in. The room was clean and tidy, it's convenient and probably tolerable if you have skin as thick as an elephant. Otherwise avoid,
