I stayed here in around the year 2000. It has been many years, but I can't imagine they would have gone downhill. For a hostal, I found it to be an excellent value. The place was in a great central location. It seemed newly renovated at the time and was kept very clean. I was a single female traveler and felt extremely safe in the hostal and in the area. The room had everything you needed ,and although not built for comfort and lounging, it was suitable for the purpose. Generally when I am in Europe, I am not in my room much anyway, since I am sight seeing. I have stayed at many hostals in Spain, and this one was the best for me. For a budget hotel, I would definitely recommend.

This was a really great priced hotel for the city centre in Seville. The room was tidy and of an excellent size. It made an excellent base for exploring the city.
The rooms are basic but give you everything you need.
The only minor issue was that the rooms face into an internal courtyard where you can hear everything that is going on in the communal areas of the hotel. It was in a peaceful street in the city though and we did not find noise to be an issue.
I would definately stay here if I returned to Seville.

I've been to the place during the holy week of 1999 and it was a very festive celebration in Seville. The staff was very helpful in providing tourist information about the area through the limited English she knew. We had the big room on the third floor which accommodates up to 6 people and it was good value for the money. The only downside is the absence of an elevator but we can use the exercise anyway. Book this place for family travel.
