This is a nice, older hotel in Triana, with several things going for it. The positives: Staying in Triana is a great way to see a less touristy part of Seville that is also picturesque. The Triana Bridge (also know as the Isabel II bridge) is a 2-minute walk, as is the Triana market (don't miss!), and a great, authentic churro stand. Our room was very spacious and very well appointed and the staff was helpful and very nice to us. Breakfast room (we only used once) is very pretty. The negatives: The are things that really did not bother us, but may bother other travelers; here goes: The exterior of the hotel is somewhat dated and not particularly attractive (but inside is nice); the hotel is not at the heart of Seville (i.e., Santa Cruz or near the Alcazar / Plaza de Triunfo); the hotel, though 4 stars, does not "feel" like a high-end luxury hotel, partly because the exterior and reception areas seem dated. Although the hotel does provide free Internet, their router appears to be somewhat weak and I had to turn my devices on and off and stand in certain parts of the room to maintain a strong connection at times. In sum: great place to stay for us, liked the location, value, and our room, but other people may be bugged by some of these negatives.
