We got a room near the water main - or at least we think we do, because there was a roaring noise all night. Then we were made to pay 18 euros for breakfast, although we announced already the previous night that we would have to leave early in the morning. Not that we were offered a cup of coffee or a sandwich in return for that money. One of the staff members, an elderly man, was particularly rude and announced proudly from the very beginning that he could only be addressed in Spanish. Other than that, it's large and impersonal, but comfortable and functional.

Chose Hotel America in Seville as my auntie had indicated it, as she and my uncle had stayed here a couple of months ago. Although it's impossible to find it on the GPS, the hotel has an excellent location (Plaza del Duque), a ten minute walk to the cathedral and the Alcazar, and with a lot of nice restaurants around. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are good in size, double windows to prevent the noise to come through, beuatiful colours. The bathroom is excellent, and there;s parking just across the plaza at El Corte Ingles for half the prize. Wi-fi doen't seem to work all that good, though. Would definetly come back and indicate it!

The location of this hotel is excellent for sightseeing, you can walk to a number of locations.

The hotel is quite old and the fittings are dated, however the room is a reasonable size for European standards. The internet is free and parking across the road at an undercover shopping complex was just over 12 euros for 24hrs.

The only complaint is that the room was quite hot and the air con did not work, but thankfully it was a cool evening and the windows do open.

The location can be a little difficult to find via GPS, but if in doubt, pull over and put your hazard lights on like any good Spanish driver and look for the plaza!

We could not have asked for a better location. It feels very safe and there is so much going on outside all the time. El corte Ingles is just a few meters from the hotel and there is lots of shops, cafés and bars everywhere and it´s close to all the sights.
The room is clean and has everything you need. We stayed on the first floor with windows to the street but because there is two windows it is very soundproof.
The staff was very nice and helpful. Sometimes though it was very slow witch was very irritating. I guess it´s just a culture thing but still... When we wanted our things from the safety box we had to wait for over two hours .
Next time I go to Sevilla I will definetely stay here again and will recommend everyone to do so to. Great value and perfect location.
