We wanted an affordable place near to the Feria. As my relatives live in Seville, I've never stayed in a hotel in Seville before, so I can't compare it to other hotels in Seville. This time we went with friends, which is why we opted for a hotel.
Resitur is in a great location for the Feria de Abril - one of the closest hotels for that, but also close to the river and lots of bars and a stone's throw from the Torre del Oro and maybe 10 mins walk from the cathedral. It was stupidly expensive for what it offered (I think we paid about €120 or something for the night) - but then everything is stupidly expensive during the Feria week. All we wanted was somewhere to sleep and not too far to walk, and it offered just that.
It also offered a couple cockroaches in our room (we only saw them a couple of times, it wasn't overrun with them, and our friends had none in their room) and virtually nothing usable in the kitchenette - don't expect to use the kitchenette to cook proper food, as there are virtually no utensils to use, some very old pans, and not even a bin. I don't know if the cooker worked, but the fridge was useful for drinks and for yogurts for breakfast.
We were in room 424, which is on the 4th floor and overlooking the back (not Calle Salado). The beds were ok, a bit bouncy, but I slept fine. It is true that it is noisy though, as the doors to the hallway are very thin, you can hear people walking and talking all day and night, and if the people above you wear high heels, you'll hear them too. Having said that, it's no different to staying at my auntie's flat nearby. We both took earplugs and slept fine. There wasn't much noise from the street on the side where we were, and the blinds and curtains were fantastic.
The whole room and bathroom looked very tired (the attached pictures don't really show just how tired the place looked). The place needs a total rehaul. But if all you want is somewhere to lay your head, you don't mind using earplugs if necessary, and you want a great location (I love Triana and Los Remedios, but then maybe I'm a bit biased as that's where my relatives have always lived), and (and this is important!) you can get a really good price on it, then this is a good choice.
If, on the other hand, having a nice hotel experience is also important, don't go here...
