“Great short stay”

Lovely hotel in the northern part of the city, but with easy walking distance to the historic sites. We chose this hotel as we were driving in, and navigating around cities like Seville is not for the feint hearted! We were going to take advantage of the hotel parking in the next street, but luckily found a spot in C/Parras. The room was of a good standard and the staff very friendly, and helpful. The heating/air conditioning sytem was very efficient in keeping us warm (this is winter) and extra blankets were available. As there weren't many guests staying mid-week, buffet breakfast was substituted by waiter service, but we had our fill. Good value for money - we are planning a return trip!

“Value for money needle in a haystack!”

Tucked away in one of the impossibly narrow streets, the hotel is impressive once you get inside. Staff were excellent, friendly and helpful, which is all you really want. Let down by the fact lifts were broken, we had to carry our suitcases up three flights of stairs. Room was fine and I have to assume that in the summer, the AIRCONDITIONING will keep it cool.
What let it down was we,we're,in the new build extension and the plumbing was the noisiest we have ever suffered. When someone in the next room went to,the loo, the sound of the water cistern was akin to a wailing banshee. Not what one wanted at four o'clock in the morning!
Breakfast OK but the heating elements to,maintain the bacon and eggs had broken so the food was cold but they did offer,to heat it up in the microwave. Not exactly what I wanted to hear!
It was excellent value for money over the new year celebrations and just a few minute taxi ride from the cathedral and the most amazing number of tapas bars and cafes.
Well worth the trip and I would stay in the hotel again.

“Clean modern rooms, friendly staff, free wifi, relaxing stay”

Happily recommended.

Hotel is located north of the city, we love walking, so the 20ish minute walk to the heart of the city was lovely, just ambling through the back streets watching the world go by.

Hotel rooms are modern, LCD TV, new decor and bathroom suites. The room we stayed in was on the ground floor, high ceilings and a nice airy feel. It was getting cold outside at night and the room was warm without the need to mess about with the air con unit.

The reception area is next to their own bar and small restaurant. Food was good and the bar had all the usual suspects.

The roads around the hotel are all traditional ( narrow ) and most cars are dented in someway, some ridiculously so. I drove there and I kid you not, less than kids football size gap each side, there is a hotel car park, I chose to park on the main road next to the river, a 15 minute walk.

If you like running, hit the path along the river and head for the plaza de espania first thing in the morning, was just one of those running wow moments when you get there, go first thing when nice and quiet, just bliss.

As you can see, we had a hassle free and pleasant stay.

Enjoy.

Room Tip: Ground floor worked for us, towards the rear of the hotel. High ceilings.

“Great location to see Seville by public transport”

We enjoyed four nights bed and breakfast at the San Gil in La Macarena area of Seville. Our accommodation was a comfortable good standard room overlooking the white marble courtyard. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. We found the location was perfect for us for ease of travel in to the city centre on foot or using the excellent bus system (stops by the Almohad city walls near La Macarena gate, opposite the Parliament of Andalusia) which also connects directly to Santa Justa station where we picked up the San Pablo airport bus.

“Great Hotel in the off-season”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 November 2011

We stayed in the junior suite on the top floor for 3 nights. The hotel pro-actively proposed this two-room solution to us as we travelled with 2 small children and it was cheaper. Fantastic location just off calle feria, very clean, pool looks great but is not heated. Only major let-down is the breakfast and that is confirmed by regular guests. Two tiny appartment nespresso machines is just ridiculous for such a hotel as is the whole buffet, topped by a very unfriendly man in charge of breakfast. If you have breakfast outside it is a great hotel although expensive in comparison during the high-season.
