“Worst room in the Hotel”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 December 2011

We are spending three nights in this hotel and must have the worst room in the whole place. I actually find it hard to believe they would rent the room out. I have to wonder if it is because we booked through Bookings.com, however if we had known we would be looking out to a dingy, enclosed rooftop covered in heating and airconditioning pipes we would have booked elsewhere. The noise from the kitchen below and outside pipes does not help-glad we brought earplugs. Even the reception guy treated us abruptly. Very disappointed, expect better for a three night booking

Room Tip: Make sure you do not get this substandard room. It is most unpleasant.

“Clean hotel with a great location”

Located in the Plaza Nueva, this hotel was a quick 10min walk to most attractions. There were a couple of hotels that were closer to the attractions, but they would have been a lot louder and usually cost more money. The hotels and rooms were very clean and we had no issues to report.

“Beautiful surroundings, great location, no air con”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 November 2011

As the title suggests, the rooms are beautiful, as is the rest of the hotel. The beds are a little hard, and the pillows are not the most comfortable either, but a fews drinks helped us along our way to sleep.

Our only substantial gripe was the lack of air conditioning. When we enquired after such (16/11//11), after spending a night in the blistering heat of our room, we were laughed at. The gentleman (I use that term very loosely) behind reception informed us that it's not needed as it was 'November in Spain'. My sister informed him it was November all across the world. He also let us know that Spanish people do not need AC in November. However, as their guests we did. This did not appear to be a matter of consequence. This particular staff member was more concerned for his own comfort rather than that of his guests. He suggested we left our window open. Instead of being met with blistering heat the next morning I was greeted by the beautiful tones of motorcyclists, the soaring light of day, and four mosquito bites.

All other staff memebers we encountered were nothing but helpful and polite. Doing whatever was necessary to accomodate us. Including providing us with a small jug of milk to make our morning cup of tea. Particularly essential when your sleep is disturbed.

“The hotel made our day trip worthwhile, calm, clean, top service without charm but still charming and the breakfast really taste”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 November 2011

We stay just one night, valet parking, internet, really good looking rooms and top quality service with that stiff Seville upper lip that is part of the city charm.
Great location and we got a good price via booking.com.

“well appointed hotel that could do with some money being spent on it”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 November 2011

Despite having asked for a superior room overlooking the plaza we were given one at the rear side overlooking a wall. This was quickly rectified and were given an upgrade to a junior suite ,which was extremely nice but the bathroom was in need of an upgrade,it had a very poor shower, rusty handles and hair stuck on the bathroom walls.
The trinity bar was extremely lively and had extremely good cocktails.
As with everyone else the wi fi was non existent and had to us their pc in the lobby on occasions.

Room Tip: room 403 junior suite excellent room 101 at the back and looks out at a wall.
