As the title suggests, the rooms are beautiful, as is the rest of the hotel. The beds are a little hard, and the pillows are not the most comfortable either, but a fews drinks helped us along our way to sleep.
Our only substantial gripe was the lack of air conditioning. When we enquired after such (16/11//11), after spending a night in the blistering heat of our room, we were laughed at. The gentleman (I use that term very loosely) behind reception informed us that it's not needed as it was 'November in Spain'. My sister informed him it was November all across the world. He also let us know that Spanish people do not need AC in November. However, as their guests we did. This did not appear to be a matter of consequence. This particular staff member was more concerned for his own comfort rather than that of his guests. He suggested we left our window open. Instead of being met with blistering heat the next morning I was greeted by the beautiful tones of motorcyclists, the soaring light of day, and four mosquito bites.
All other staff memebers we encountered were nothing but helpful and polite. Doing whatever was necessary to accomodate us. Including providing us with a small jug of milk to make our morning cup of tea. Particularly essential when your sleep is disturbed.
