We stayed at the Gran Lar for two nights and were given a huge suite, with parlor, large bedroom and bathroom. Nothing to say about the dimension of the room, but my girlfriend would object a lot about the cleaning: she found hair in the bed and in the baththub. Probably in the 70's Gran Lar was an exceptional hotel, but it seems that not much has been done since done to renew it.
The restaurant was good, a bit expensive but classy and the waiter who served us ( a tall man whose name I unfortunately can't remember) was great. Breakfast was average in quality but good in variety.
Receptionists were helpful, the girl who checked us in spoke a good italian which is not so common and which I appreciated and also the night guard helped us finding a cab and suggesting us some good place where to eat. The internal parking saved me some trouble finding a place for the car in Seville.
