They did not provide double bed for couples although it had brb requested, we have had to move the second night to get such room; so be aware when you book.

Location looks nice, a bit outside the bustling center with the cathedral and city hall but still this is a good historical area and a 20 minutes walk can get you to the center.

Rooms are decent, the hotel is quite old but it is clean.

The Tryp Macarena is situated just outside the Cathedral/central area of Seville and is about a 20 minute walk or 5 minute taxi ride to the centre. The function rooms were large and attractive, reflecting the Spanish/Moorish culture. Our room was comfortable with a newly refurbished bathroom. However the walls were a little thin as on occasions you could hear people in the next room. The breakfast was excellent with a huge choice of hot and cold. The reception staff were especially helpful and the hotel offered excellent value for money. A good place to stay and a beautiful city to visit.

We stayed in this hotel for two nights in December. We found the staff at checking in very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and quite large but walls seem a bit thin as you at times could hear the people in the next room.
Breakfast was buffet style and quite extensive. Staff here was quite helpful as well.
Location of the hotel is good only 15 minutes walk from the city center and a bus stop just opposite with buses running to the city center the no.C4 bus.
The Isla Magica amusement park is just 10 min walk away.
The only draw back is that if you are driving the hotel car park is quite expensive at 20 euros per day but parking in Seville is a nightmare.
I certainly recommend this hotel and will definitely return in the not too distant future,

My husband and I satayed in this hotel in November 2010 and we found it ideal for it's location in Seville. It is true that you have a short walk to most places of interest but this is part of the joy of visiting Seville. The breakfast was abundant and well presented and the staff were very helpful indeed. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are quiet and comfortable. No negative points to be found.Would not hesitate to recommend.
