this hotel is unattractive, in a poor location, and not 4 star. Breakfast was basic. I would have preferred a more central location.

Not a very nice hotel! The service was very low, they didn't help us with the luggage. I think that for this hotel you don't have to pay much than Euro 75,00, if they require you something more, please look for something better in the centre, there are wonderful hotel and hostal!
The room was big, rougly 35sqm, but was very difficult closing the window and the sheets were broken!!!!!
Not terrible, but not a 4 star hotel!

I feel disappointed that the agency I booked the hotel through didn't mention that the underground was being installed right outside the hotel. It was like being in the middle of a building site. I would see this situation remaining the same over the next six months.

Having said all that the hotel was pleasant, I stayed on a B & B basis. Staff spoke a little english and were most helpful when enquiries were made. Rooms were smaller than average, mini bar provided but no facilities for tea and coffee, safe in the room but wasn't working. Rooms were cleaned daily and a high standard of cleanliness was achieved.

I would give this hotel another go at some stage in the future, when the underground has been installed!!!

This hotel was unfortunately on a street which is currently undergoing road works. The entrance to the hotel was blocked up and we had to walk just few metres away to the main road to get in or out of the cab. It is not quite centrally located. You could walk to the Santa Cruz area (where the cathedral is) in 20 minutes or take a cab for around 5 euros. There were no metro stations nearby but there is a regular bus service which we never used. The streets around the hotel itself were unattractive.
The rooms were adequate in size. The bathrooms were clean and had good showers. We had no problems with the air conditioning. The rooms were cleaned everyday. There was a safe in the room but ours had no lock on it. The TV in the room only has news channels in English (CNN and BBC World). There was no tea/coffee provided in the room. We booked a twin room (2 single beds) but was given a large double bed. It was larger than the usual double bed and we ended up using it comfortably anyway. Despite the road works outside the rooms were quiet.

The breakfast buffet was a simple average spread. Our breakfast was included in the price of the room and had no problems with the bill. There was plenty of space at breakfast and we had no problems with coffee or tea with the waiters.

The staff at the hotel could generally understand simple English and we had no problems checking in or out and had no trouble or hassle with any of them.

The décor at the reception and breakfast lounge was sort of shabby.

The hotel claims to be 4 star but I would generally rate this as a 3 star hotel. We had no trouble and slept comfortably but I probably won’t stay there again at least until the road works are completed.
