Las Casas de la Juderia is a wonderful complex of old houses in the old town of Seville. It is well located for most attractions in Seville. The patios and gardens are relaxing an beautiful (even in winter when we visited). We had a standard double and a superior room in the main complex during the 3 kings holiday period in early January.
This was my second visit (the first was a few years ago). Overall the staff are still fabulous - helpful, friendly and accomodating. The complex is great (although if you are visiting for the first time it may take you a couple of trips to reception before you are confident navigating your way around). Since my last visit, I felt the attention to detail in the rooms has slipped a fraction. I had a few minor maintenance issues - several blown globes and the (very small) television seemed to have lost several channels. Neither mattered enough to contact reception. Also, the cleaning was a little hit and miss (e.g. on arrival a row of half a dozen used shampoo and conditioner containers along the ledge in the excellent shower, bins not emptied one day, etc.). Nothing major - it had just slipped a little since my last visit.
Overall, the quirky rambling nature of the place, it's lovely patios and the great location make this is still one of my favourite places to stay - but attention to detail in the rooms needs to improve a little to restore it to the top rank.
