Lovely hotel converted from a palace. Big room and equally big bathrooms. Lovely views from the room.

Very friendly staff. Felt very welcome on arrival. Upgraded to a suite, with a bottle of champagne and chocolates.

There was a captains happy hour the next night and a very classy one too. Was a refreshing change to be back at this hotel after a touristic day in Majorca.

Thanks to all who made our stay very wonderful.

Seville is worth the detour and wandering around the streets and getting lost is great.
The ALFONSO XIII is superb, great location . The staff was efficient and wonderfully
pleasant. They made us feel at home . We stayed 6 nights and fully enjoyed the atmosphere.
Highly recommend an evening dinner at their patio restaurant.
PS If you find it a bit pricey just come in for a drink.... We did that our first time in Seville

This was a spur of the moment overnight trip to Sevilla from Portugal where we were visiting family. We had not booked a hotel. It was the Wednesday before Easter, so the streets were crowded and parking was scarce. We parked in the hotel parking garage, so on a whim we decided to stay here. My husband travels on business and is accustomed to staying in luxurious hotels, but me, not so much. I have stayed in nice hotels, but this was palatial. The main areas of the hotel were stunning. Our room was spacious, with chandeliers, silk wallpaper, copper tiling in the large bathroom, balcony overlooking the pool and the city. My husband though it was a bit tired - he wasn't as blown away, and we didn't know it was about to be renovated. I am just more easily impressed, I guess. It was quiet for sleeping, room-darkening shades so that we slept late, very comfortable. Wonderful brunch. Convenient location. A big splurge and a memorable stay.
